Welcome to Carolina Wood Expressions,
Hi,
My name is Ken Stanley, owner of Carolina Wood Expressions. Please feel free to take a look around. Our store has just recently opened and our selection is a little sparse at the moment, so please check back with us often to see the new exciting products that we have available. I started this business in February of 2008. All of the products that you see on our site are made in the USA. They are also made by my father inlaw, Paul. He ran a woodworking shop in central North Carolina for over 13 years and then several years ago he had to close the doors due to a large part of the market going overseas where labor is much cheaper. It may have actually been a blessing for him as this all happened at a time in his life where he was ready to slow down. He wanted to get back to where he enoyed making his wood products with his hands and not having to mass produce them to fill deadlines with mass quantities. He loves to make anything out of wood. He has spent the last several years making products out of his small shop. When I approached him last year to make me a book stand, He asked if I could help him sell some of the items that he makes. Thats when Carolina Wood Expressions was born. We are not a large operation, but we are proud of our products and hope that you find something here that would make a great addition to your home.
